Low-calorie no fat high protein healthy recipe that tastes great. Perfect for cutting (losing weight) or weight maintenance, satiety guaranteed! Simple and quick with easy-to-find ingredients. Different flavoring options available for unlimited variations.

Ingredients:

  • 1lb Raw asparagus

  • 12 oz Baby Bella mushrooms

  • 4 tbsp Sun-dried tomatoes

  • avocado oil spray to coat the pan

  • added protein options: 2tbsp Nutritional yeast flakes in your sauce will add only 50kcal and 7gr of protein

  • Salt, Pepper, Umami to taste, If you like it spicy - add red chili pepper powder

  • sauce options: Tamari, Coco aminos, sweet chili or roasted garlic BBQ, may others will work well too

Directions:

Wash asparagus spears, cut off hard bottoms. Cut into half-inch to an inch long pieces

 

Clean and wash Baby Bella mushrooms, cut stems off. Slice into large pieces (6-8 for a medium-sized mushroom).

 

Put a 12’ frying pan on the stove on high heat, wait until very hot. Spray with avocado oil spray just enough to prevent sticking.

 

Sear mushrooms first, stirring frequently, until golden. Add asparagus and sear for a few minutes, stirring frequently.

 

Add salt, pepper, and spices, stir and cover for a few minutes.

 

Reduce heat to low, uncover, add tamari sauce (or any sauce of choice). If you go for the high protein option, add nutritional yeast. Stir and remove from the heat.
